ஆண்டுத் திவசம் (நினைவு திதி) சரியாக 365 நாட்கள் அல்ல. இறந்த நாளின்
தமிழ் மாதம் + பக்ஷம் (வளர்/தேய்பிறை) + திதி ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் எந்த நாளில்
அபராண்ண காலத்தில் (மத்தியானத்திற்குப் பின் நாளின் 4-ஆம் பகுதி) வருகிறதோ அந்த நாளில் செய்யப்படும்.
The yearly ceremony is not 365 days later — it follows the Tamil month, paksham and tithi of the death, observed each year on the day that tithi prevails in the afternoon (Aparahna Kala).
நினைவு நாள் செய்யும் இடம் | Where the ceremony will be held
திவசம் செய்யும் இடத்தின் சூரிய உதயம்/அஸ்தமனம் வைத்தே அபராண்ணம் கணிக்கப்படும். வெளிநாட்டில் செய்தால் அந்த இடத்தைத் தேர்வுசெய்யவும்.

இறந்த திதி குடும்பத்தில் ஏற்கனவே குறிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தால் அதை இங்கே நேரடியாகத் தேர்வுசெய்யலாம். இல்லையெனில் மேலே உள்ள திகதி/நேரத்திலிருந்து தானாகவே கணிக்கப்படும்.
